On Sunday it was Mothers Day. I took my Mum to the movies and got her a necklace. Then we went to go and see the movie Tin Tin. My mum ate all the popcorn! Then we went home and had a barbecue. It was yum. My mother had a cool day for mothers day.
I am a Year 5 student at Tamaki Primary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 6 and my teacher is Mr Craig.

HOW TO MAKE A TAPA COLTH
SKETCHING SHELLS
Firstly, we had to sketch some shells with a pencil. We sketched the main lines on the inside of the shell.
Transferring Design
Secondly, we tranferred our best sketch onto cardboard. Then we added a border. We went over the lines with black vivid.
Scrunching the Cardboard
Next, we scrunched the cardboard 30 times. When we had finished the paper felt like soft paper.
Adding Colour
Then we had to add some colour. We added black and brown pastel to our tapa cloth. Our
tapa cloth looked cool! Finally, we finished our tapa cloth, then we put our tapa cloth on the wall.
